Experience: My name is Gretel and I love working with mums and babies. I have extensive nursing and midwifery experience, as well as being a certified lactation consultant.
About Me: I have had five children of my own, and I fully understand that each family has their own way of doing things. Having had twins myself, I had someone to support me, and I know how important it is to have that extra pair of hands. I would love to support you through your own journey with your new family.

Name: Kerry Sainato
Area of Service: Adelaide
Experience: I have had a lot of experience in looking after babies and children over the years with all my family and friends having babies. It gave me great pleasure being able to be there to support and help them out on a regular basis. Babies are such a precious gift. I’m a mother of two adult children now 22 and 21.
About Me: I’m so excited to be starting a new career with NMSS, My first child was born at my mums place 6 weeks early – my mum helped me deliver her! Unfortunately my mum passed away from an accident 4 months later. It would have been great to have someone to come into my home to help and support me through some tough times, and just to have someone else to talk to can give you a different prospective on the challenges of being a new mum. I’m looking forward to supporting new mums and their families through their journey of becoming parents.

Experience: I have over thirty years experience in the early childhood field, ranging from playgroups, child care and family day care to working as teacher and director at a C & K kindergartens. My husband and I have raised three children who are now amazing young adults. For the last four years I have specialised in providing practical and emotional support to mums at home with new babies in the Brisbane area.
About Me: I am passionate about providing support to new mums. I believe that practical and emotional support allows them to enjoy the early years rather than “survive” them. When I was at home with three children aged four and under, I sometimes felt bombarded and stressed, so I really appreciate the importance of having an extra pair of caring hands. It means a more peaceful home life for the whole family and helps mums and dads to feel confident in their parenting role.

Experience: I have a real passion for babies and children. I am the mother of three beautiful girls, now aged 15, 18 and 19. And I have been around children all my life, that past six years in childcare and primary school.
About Me: Soon after my second child was born, my own mother passed away. I had a 15 month old and a 10 day old baby, and it would have been so good to have had someone who could offer me practical and emotional support. To have had a helper who was supportive and non-judgemental and was there when I needed someone to talk to. This is why I choose to be a New Mums Support Service provider – to offer you positive and reassuring support during the exciting (but sometimes challenging) time at home with your new baby.
